Heavy Nova was officially released in the North American region for the Sega Mega Drive; however, it never came out in Japan.
 
This version of Heavy Nova is a bootleg / copy cartridge, which was released in the Taiwan region during the mid 1990s. The set comes with the game cartridge and box.
