This edition is produced in a single, limited run to determine the number of pendants to be prepared and blessed. Future copies will not include the blessed pendant or cultural booklet.
 
About the Pendant:
Each pendant in the First Voyage Edition is personally blessed at Dajia Jenn Lann Temple, one of the most important Mazu temples in the world. This temple, renowned for its history and devotion, attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year to honor Mazu’s protection of sailors and coastal communities. Including a pendant from this sacred site ensures that your edition is not only unique but also deeply connected to the spiritual and cultural legacy of Mazu.
 
Because the pendants are limited, pre-orders are required to finalize the quantity to be blessed, making this First Voyage Edition a truly special collector’s item.
 
About the Game:
Mazu: Guardian of the Tides is a retro-style puzzle experience inspired by the legend of
Lin Moniang. The game takes inspiration from NES classics such as The Adventures of Lolo.
 
Navigate through carefully crafted puzzles while discovering a story rooted in Taiwanese folklore and maritime tradition. Travel across islands collecting sacred animal tablets - if you grab the dragon tablet, you can even change the tides!
 
For the first time ever, players can experience the story and sacred powers of Lin Moniang (Mazu) at the heart of a video game.
 
Why 39 Copies?
The First Voyage Edition is limited to 39 copies maximum to honor cultural traditions. In Taiwanese culture, the number 9 (九, jiǔ) symbolizes longevity and continuity, perfect for a collectible tied to Mazu’s protection. This ensures each copy is both auspicious and meaningful, making your edition truly special.

Production will begin immediately after the pre-order period ends
Orders will ship once manufacturing is complete, likely the end of April. You should have your game in time for May 27, Mazu's ordination day.
