In 1984, Nintendo would release the Data Recorder, a cassette player. A handful of games from the era, such as Mach Rider, Excitebike, Wrecking Crew, Nuts & Milk, Lode Runner, and Arkanoid II made use of this device. Players could design up their own stages and then save them to cassette tapes.
We've decided to bring back the fun! Each month a cassette tape will be released containing new levels or tracks for one of the Data Recorder-compatible games. Each cassette is dated, and will only be available for about six weeks.
VOLUME 2: EXCITEBIKE
The second cassette of our club contains new tracks for Excitebike.
Please Note: This is a single-purchase item. For those wishing to purchase a subscription to receive a new cassette tape each month, please click here.
